Law Office of Cynthia Tyler
About Attorney Cynthia Tyler
Comprehensive legal immigration services for individuals, families, and professionals.
Founding Attorney
Cynthia Tyler founded the Law Office of Cynthia Tyler to help noncitizens live and work in the United States, and keep families together. Her practice includes providing modest means rates for certain qualifying clients. She is associated with the Bay Area Legal Incubator (BALI), a community of attorneys who practice in a variety of legal areas, and who also are dedicated to promoting social justice and legal access.
Cynthia practices primarily immigration and nationality law. Her immigration practice focuses primarily on family based immigration and removal defense, but also includes employment-based immigration cases.
Prior to founding the law office, Cynthia was an Equal Justice Works justice AmeriCorps Fellow with Social Justice Collaborative. In this position Cynthia solely focused her practice on presenting unaccompanied minors who would not otherwise have access to representation.
Cynthia received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2014. Prior to law school she worked for about three years as an immigration paralegal, doing family-based petitions, business immigration petitions, and removal defense. Cynthia is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Northern California Chapter, Rome District Chapter, Bangkok Chapter, and Latin America Chapter. She is also a member of the Alameda County Bar Association.
